Chris Thompson: The Twitter Song (Do the Twitter Dance)

funny and fun stuff.. this should be a big radio hit, in 1965 maybe..

Leo Kottke: Last Steam Engine-Stealin (Live)

live, from Japanese tv, 1974.. this is as good as 12-string acoustic guitar gets!

Pat Rolland: I've Got You Under My Skin

somehow I think Cole Porter might prefer this very sensual version of his classic song..

Chris Thompson: Low Budget Love Song

pretty funny, worthy of tv since it's better than 95% of what passes for comedy nowdays..

Nicole Kidman: Unusual Way

Nicole Kidman's song and clip from Nine.. sung in a much lower key than the original, but still a good song..

Marion Cotillard: Take It All

her rehearsals, vocal recording, mixed with excerpts of the scene in the film - what a breathtaking performer Marion Cotillard has already become! she's fast becoming one of the best actresses ever, not only of this generation

Kate Hudson: Cinema Italiano

Six weeks of rehearsal, then two days of shooting for her one song, Hudson shows she can really sing - plus, you have to like the subtle spoof of her mom, Goldie Hawn, who began as a go-go dancer.. this is the scene as shown in the film, not the video remix trailer

Penelope Cruz: Call From the Vatican

Unreal! From "Nine", this got her the Oscar nomination I'm sure.. perfect for Mother's Day, cuz it makes me want to procreate! if this doesn't move you then you're (a) dead, (b) blind, (c) hopelessly squared, (d) too connected to the Vatican

Robin Hackett: Runnin

Love Robin Hackett! bought her first cd, "One Foot Barefoot" directly from her online, it's well worth the money.. she won a poll around 1998-9 on the internet at "Best Female Artist" and was runner-up at Lilith Fair (1999) for best artist.. hard to believe talent like this isn't bigger commercially..
