This was one of the best color cartoons ever made, imo... Harman and Ising quit Disney over a contract dispute, founded "Happy Harmonies" which became "Merry Melodies" (!).. they created every after Mickey Mouse for Disney, then all the Merry Melodies cast: Porky Pig, Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd.. then at the end, a cat and mouse named "Puss N Boots", who were later renamed "Tom and Jerry".. these guys were the real creative genius behind Disney studios and he let them go rather than pay them a decent wage!

I especially love the acoustic bass player on this.. McDonald's version was actually overproduced, with an unnecessary string orchestra.. it was also too short at just over two minutes.. everyone else thankfully adds a repeat of the chorus..
